RCS Shadrach is a 2002 Canadian Warmblood stallion out of the sport horse mare, Cassie, by the TB stallion, Sommersby.  He is by the Dutch Warmblood stallion, Eastern Ruler, by the great G. Ramiro Z, considered by many in Europe to be the stallion of the century. Shadrach competed in the Free-Jumping Competition at the Royal Canadian Riding Academy as a three year old and again as a four year old.  He also competed as a 3′ 6″ hunter as a four year old, in 2006.

In 2007, he did the 3′ 6″ hunter again and also competed as a 4 foot jumper.

His athletic ability, boldness, and his quiet disposition, enable him to perform as a jumper and to be calm enough to also compete as a hunter. Shadrach has many offspring now who all inherit his lovely temperament, his athletic ability, and his jumping form.  Of his last ten foals, three have been palomino and white, three buckskin and white, two bay and white, one buckskin, and one bay.  If you’re looking for colour, the odds are pretty good that you’ll get some with Shadrach. At just under 15.3hh, Shadrach is not big, but he more than makes up for his lack of size with his many attributes.  His great conformation with short cannon bones, short back and good bone will allow him to compete at any level and stay sound.  As a colour producer his offspring are sure to stand out in any show ring.  His sensible good nature allow him to be pastured with mares and foals and his foals all have his wonderful temperament.

Shadrach’s stud fee is $600.00 for live cover, with a live foal guarantee.  Mare care is $8.00 per day.
